Quiver and Quake, for Oboe, Bb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, and Bassoon was premiered by Spinter Reeds. It features an interplay between a more delicate sense of quivering in anticipation and the sense of a driving urgency brought about by a fast-paced running unison line spread throughout the ensemble that is often broken before it reaches its goal.
