About: From the sorrow of losing hundreds of thousands of lives to a pandemic to the individual loss of the great statesman and leader Representative John Lewis; from the rise of anger and feelings of rage at the unnecessary death of George Floyd to the profound sense of isolation caused by the pandemic; from the fear of job loss to the overall angst of not knowing who is carrying the virus, and to lack of political will to stop the pandemic, the year 2020 has been a rough one emotionally. “Tears” is a play on words meaning both to pull apart/divide and an act of crying. "Twenty-Twenty" is a play on words standing both for the year and the unhindered look at the events of that year. If hindsight is 20/20, remembering the pain and sadness of that time can offer hope and encouragement to future generations to do what is needed to do better.
